 Introducing T-Bike with New 12 Stops in Tainan Downtown !

過年這幾天，你是否在台南市區的路上注意到一個新的身影呢?

沒錯，以往只有在奇美博物館及南科才有的T-Bike

現在台南市區共有12站的公共自行車站開站囉!!!

老林居附近可以就近在赤崁樓站就借到車喔!

今年度在市區將陸續增加至50個站點，包含火車站附近也會有喔!

究竟，具有台南DNA的T-Bike

跟大家熟悉的高雄的City Bike、或是台北U-Bike有那些異同呢?

Have you notice a New Face on the road these days?

Yes! That's T-Bike, the public bike of Tainan.
Now there are 12 new stops in downtown~
And the Chih-Kan Stop is the closest to Rolling Inn!

At the end of this year,
50 stops will be available in downtown,
including Train Station!

However, what's special of T-Bike?

亮綠色的車身與車站是最顯眼的標誌，

T-Bike通常以四輛車為一組，可以方便安裝在行道樹間。

T-Bike乍看之下跟高雄的City Bike一樣，但其實小編覺得使用的體驗跟U-Bike較接近，

目前T-Bike可以接受使用台南市民卡、一卡通、悠遊卡、還有信用卡借車。

The bike with bright green color is the icon of T-bike.

They usually placed between the trees with 4 bikes line up.

At the first sight, T-Bike is almost the same as CityBike in Kaohsiung,

but the using experience in much closer to U-Bike in Taipei.

Now you can use T-bike with
Tainan Civil Card, I-Pass Card, Easy Card, or your Credit Card.

[第一次使用前 Before the First Time]

第一次使用台南市民卡、一卡通、悠遊卡借用T-Bike前，

必須先到中控台加入會員，你會需要一支手機來接受驗證碼簡訊。

Before Borrowing T-bike at the first time with
Tainan Civil Card, I-Pass Card, and Easy Card

Register your card by using the KIOSK machine,
and you will be asked to provide a phone number to get the verification code.

或是你也可以到Google Play商店或App Store下載 T-Bike APP

直接使用APP完成會員登記免排隊更快!

Or you can download the T-bike APP on Google Play or App Store.
Register your card by App is much faster!

      

完成會員登記之後，以後無論借車/還車都不需要再到主機這邊操作!!!
After registration, you DO NOT have to use KIOSK machine when rent / return T-Bike!

Note.若使用信用卡，則不需要加入會員，但借/還車都必須到中控台這邊操作。
For Credit Card user, there's no need to register.
but Credit Card operation (Rent / Return) is only allowed at KIOSK machine.

--借車 Rent T-Bike--

[Step 01]

將一卡通 / 悠遊卡 放置在車架上的感應區

用< > 鍵選定你要的車格號碼

Put your I-Pass Card / Easy Card on sensor zone,
and use < > to select the T-bike position.

[Step 02]

綠燈亮起時，按下旁邊的紅色按鈕取車
When green signal lights up, press the red button to unlock.

--還車 Return T-Bike--

[Step 01]

將T-Bike前的晶片鎖插入停車架
Insert the T-Bike Lock Plate into the dock.

[Step 02]

再將一卡通 / 悠遊卡 放置在車架上的感應區，完成扣款即可!!!
Place your I-Pass Card / Easy Card on sensor zone again to confirm the return.

[調整坐墊高低 / Adjust the Height]

出發之前，可以扳開調整扣，將坐墊調整到合適高度再騎~
Before Starting to ride, adjust the seat to the suitable height~

[可觸控導航架 / Touchable Navigation Frame ]

小編覺得這個真的好實用!  手機放在裡面一樣可以觸控操作喔!!!
Very useful!!! You can put your phone inside!!! 

[可變速 / Shift in three stages]

轉動右手把內側轉輪，可以三段變速換檔!

 Control the three-stage derailleur system with right handle.

[腳踏車鎖 / Bike Lock]

車籃裡附有一個隨車的鎖，可以繞過前輪後再插回龍頭上就可以將鑰匙取下。

這裡其實有一個小巧思，有注意到車鎖鑰微微先將晶片鎖往下壓，才能插入嗎？

這是為了可以避免有人惡作劇將腳踏車上鎖之後才還車，造成別人無法使用喔!

There is a bike lock in the basket.
 You can lock the front wheel with the Lock.

鹽水的古地名叫做"月津"、"月港"

曾經是古代重要的四大商港之一

月津港燈節以舊商港河道形成之親水公園為畫布

每年春節至元宵期間以水燈點綴於河道上

成為一年一度光、影、水交織的盛會

非常值得一看!

今年的主題為「月光寶盒，亮今津」

較往年相比以更多樣色彩與具像化的花燈
點亮鹽水的夜晚

Yan-Shuei was been called "Yue-Jin" or "Moon Harbor"

and was one of the four important harbors in Taiwan

"Yue-Jin Lantern Festival" is located at the near-water park
which was Moon Harbor

During Chinese New Year Holiday,

lanterns are all light up on the river

It's a "must see" festival of Light, Water, and Reflection!!!

  

The theme of this year is "Moon light treasure box."

The beautiful night at Yan-Shuei
is light up with more colorful and realistic lanterns

在老林居附近 國華街三段的普濟殿一帶
有一個非常小巧美麗的花燈展
從普濟殿的廟埕 綿延至國華街在民族路與郡緯街之間
佈滿著小朋友們彩繪的燈籠
既有著數大的美 仔細看又會發現許多俏皮可愛的作品
非常有趣而值得一看!!

Around Pu Ji Temple on Guohua St, which is near Rolling Inn,
there's a small and fine lantern exhibition.
From the ground of Pu Ji Temple, to Guohua St between Minzu Rd. and Junwei St.,
the sky is filled with children painted lanterns.
It's beautiful to see the entire,
and it's also interesting to see them one by one!!

普濟殿為台灣最早的王爺廟距今約有350年歷史
 Pu Ji Temple is the first "Local Royal Temple" in Taiwan,
and was build about 350 years ago.

上週，來自香港的獨立作家子聰來訪
為他的下一本關於台南的著作取材
短短的時間內聊了許多天

從開始的契機 到旅行 生活等等
是非常愉快的一次訪談

他也帶來了他的著作
『在台灣我曾遇見過的』
跟我們分享
本來想當天就立刻分享給大家

後來還是想等我們看完之後
再一起跟大家說說讀後的想法

閱讀這本書是一個有趣而輕鬆的經驗

因為作者本身的背景關係

可以觀察到很細微的用字不同
(但絕不影響閱讀)

透過作者的眼看台灣 對比香港的情況

對於政治經濟的現況也有自己的見解

這本書的採訪並不局限於台南

每一篇文字都是作者自己的體驗

以一個地點出發

但內容並不局限於描述地方
而是把主題設為"人"
細數他遇見的人 與人之間的交流

以及店主的生活態度等等

慢慢描繪出細微的生活樣貌
看見在這座島嶼上認真生活的人們

整體而言是閱讀起來很放鬆

但心裡會有一些想法盤旋的書
(還真是有點抽象的描述)

關於登革熱 / About Dengue Fever

相信大家都聽說了
最近登革熱在台南大流行

也有一些遊客來過臺南後感染登革熱

其實在重點防疫的北區和中西區
大多數的地區都已經噴灑過登革熱的藥
下雨過後許多地方都重新施藥
包括老林居所在的區域也剛噴灑過
謹記以下原則 可以大大減少感染的可能~

You must have heard of the epidemic situation

of Dengue Fever in Tainan.
Some of the tourists had dengue fever after visiting Tainan.

Actually the government has sprayed in most of the places
in the North & West Central Districts in Tainan.
After the heavy rains, the government also arrange
some re-spary in many areas,
including the area Rolling Inn located.

Follow the principles, they actually help
to decrease the probability of being infected.


 來臺南要注意/ Please Note 

1.服裝 What to wear

盡量選擇長褲為主 可以加薄外套

減少可能被蚊子叮咬的面積

Pants, trousers are suggested.

Better with a outerwear.
To reduce the skin area that might be bitten.

2.防蚊液 Mosquito repellent

攜帶防蚊液 隨時補噴

Please carry a mosquito repellent.

3.行程規劃 Planning

請盡量避免前往容易孳生病媒蚊處

如傳統市場 黃昏市場等
如果還是想去 請不要逗留太久時間~

Please avoid visiting places that have more mosquitos
like traditional markets, evening markets..
If you still want to go, then don't spend too much time.

 B.老林居的準備 Our Preparation 

老林居一館因為滿院子的植物和樹

難免會有蚊子

不過我們都有做適當的處理

Because of the trees and plants that fill the yard,
it's hard to avoid all mosquitos near Rolling Inn 1.
But we did deal with it carefully and properly 

1.水池/水缸處理 Water containers
不流動的積水容易孳生病媒蚊
老林居一館的水池有循環系統保持其為活水
並養魚 避免蚊蟲孳生

水缸等容器也都養很多魚
魚會幫忙消滅孑孓喔!

It's easy to have mosquitos in lentic water.
Rolling Inn 1 has an equipment to make the pool water living.
to prevent the wrigglers.
Also we have fishes in all pools and containers.
The fishes eat wrigglers!

2.防蚊處理 Keep mosquitos away
大門口點蚊香 房內配置補蚊器具

也會噴灑防蚊防蟲藥物

We put mosquito coil incense in front of the entrance
and spray bug off & mosquito off.
Every room is equipped with mosquito zapper.

3.提供防蚊液 Provide mosquito repellent
老林居一二館都會準備防蚊液
客人在離開前都可以補噴
減少病媒蚊叮咬的可能
*請勿將防蚊液攜出老林居喔!

We prepare mosquito repellent for our guests
in both Rolling Inn 1 & 2.
Guests can spray it before going out
to decrease the chance of being bitten by mosquitos.

4.配合政府方針 Follow official policy
市政府相關單位會規畫時間前來噴藥
老林居也已配合施藥(包含室內)

The authorities concerned arrange when to spray.
Rolling Inn 1&2 have recently sprayed both in- and outdoor.

 C.來過台南以後 

登革熱一般在病媒蚊叮咬後5-8天會發病
登革熱的症狀大概有以下幾種
頭痛 發燒38度以上 紅疹 關節肌肉痛 眼窩後疼痛

黃斑病變：看東西有暗點等

如果再來過台南後5-8天有類似症狀
記得盡速就診喔!!!

Dengue Fever normally has a 5 to 8-day-long incubation.
and has symptoms like:
headache, fever, red rash, joints & muscle pain,
eyehole pain, maculopathy...
If you have these symptoms after visiting Tainan,
please go to the doctor immediately!!!

行前多準備 來時多注意 回去多留意
其實還是不必過度恐慌的

Get prepared before, be careful during staying,

and be aware after leaving.
Actually you don't have to be too panic.
